15% more online shoppers than before the pandemic, two thirds buy only on the Serbian web
Mastercard has published the results of the latest MasterIndex survey for Serbia, which shows that the number of online payment users has increased by 15% compared to the period before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
81% of respondents use online payments, of which 10% pay online at least once a week, while 45% use online payments at least once a month.
In addition, the survey found that men were slightly more active online shoppers than women (51 versus 49 percent), while by age structure, the most active online shoppers were those between the ages of 45 and 59 (29 percent).
