Acknowledgment for Chapter 4 agency in support of National Giving Day
On the occasion of October 9, the National Day of Giving, the Serbian Philanthropic Forum, USAID and the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation organized an event with the theme "Let's save food, let's save humanity" spasimohranu.rs. The organizations that donated support for the initiative were handed thank-you letters, and among them is the Chapter 4 agency. We are proud to actively support the activities of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum for the second year in a row.

The National Day of Giving is being marked for the fourth year in a row, on the birthday of Mihajlo Pupin, and on the initiative of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum and the Coalition for Charity. By marking this day, we renew the culture of giving and raise awareness of the rich and important philanthropic tradition of our society.

In terms of charity, Serbia has noticed a big shift in the list of the World Benefit Index, organized by the Charitable Aid Foundation (CAF), which climbed from 129th place in 2018 to 48th place, which is a very important data, especially in the condition of Coronavirus pandemic. With the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Charity Coalition, led by the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, started the Project for Improving the Giving Framework in 2018. The goal of the project is to promote philanthropy and create a more stimulating giving environment, which enables and inspires an increasing number of people and companies to do good deeds and donate more. According to the Catalyst Balkans report, during 2020, citizens and companies in Serbia donated more than 90 million euros for the common good, which is 2.7 times more than in 2019. Other members of the Coalition are Trag Foundation, Catalyst Balkans, SMART Kolektiv, Serbian Philanthropic Forum, Forum for Responsible Business and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
