Applications open for Neum Underwater Film Festival 2025

All authors of underwater films, whether amateurs or professionals, are invited to submit their works and become part of the unique worldwide underwater film festival - the Neum Underwater Film Festival. Applications have been open since January this year, and the deadline for submitting films is August 2.
Films should contain at least 50% footage underwater (sea, river, lake, ocean...), while in the Best Music category, the music originally composed for the submitted film is evaluated.
Prizes are awarded in six categories: GRAND PRIX (best underwater film), best BH underwater film, best music in underwater film, best eco underwater film, best camera in underwater film and AUDIENCE AWARD.
About the festival
The Neum Underwater Film Festival will be held in Neum from August 28 to 30, 2025. During the three festival days, rated films, films by young Fest&Val artists, promoting amateur artists, local authors and films that were a step towards the official selection will be shown. All screenings will be open to the public.
In addition to the film program, visitors will be able to participate in the ecological-educational workshop "Sea and People", in the expert panel "Underwater World", which is intended for all current and future authors of underwater films, as well as in the workshop intended for collaboration between artists and the exchange of experiences "Artists in the network".
The organizer of the festival, Udruga Standard (the Standard Association), is looking forward to applications from authors from all over the world, as well as local filmmakers.
