Bluesky – PR impact and tips for using the platform
Bluesky, publicly launched in February 2024, is a social microblogging network, considered an alternative to X/Twitter. According to statistics from the website Backlinko, Bluesky attracted an audience of 3 million registered users during its invitation-only phase and has since grown to over 27 million users. In November 2024 alone, Bluesky gained 7.85 million new users. 

Perhaps due to its security protocols and improved moderation, many public figures, journalists, and organizations have announced their transition to Bluesky, and some have even deactivated their X accounts, as PRNEWS wrote about when they covered this topic late last year, to recently publish 5 PR tips for using this platform, or any new one.
