CWP’s Solarina project secures 105 MW in Serbia’s latest renewable energy auctions

CWP Europe has been awarded a contract for difference for 105 MW of its Solarina solar project in Serbia's latest renewable energy auction, organized by the Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Mining and Energy. This achievement further strengthens CWP Europe’s role in supporting the country's energy transition and delivering affordable and clean electricity to the market.
Maja Turković, Executive Vice President of CWP Europe, highlighted the importance of this achievement:
"We are thrilled to announce that our solar project Solarina has been awarded in this competitive auction. Solarina represents a key milestone in the expansion of the country’s renewable energy capacity, delivering clean and stable electricity at a competitive price of 52.89 EUR/MWh, reinforcing our commitment to making renewable energy more accessible and affordable for the citizens of Serbia. We extend our gratitude to the Serbian government for entrusting us with the responsibility of delivering low-cost green electricity."
