Ericsson Application Awards 2012

The international contest of Ericsson Application Awards is being launched for the third consecutive year. It is an initiative of Ericsson, which rewards innovation and reveals the company''s vision for a networked society, in which by 2020 there will be 50 billion connected devices. This year''s competition has as topic the "Networked Society" and is being addressed to two audiences: groups of students and employees of medium sized companies of the telecommunications industry (with a capacity of less than a hundred people). The three winning teams from each category will be rewarded with a prize of € 15.000, € 10.000 and € 5.000 respectively along with other gifts from Sony Ericsson, which actively supports the competition.
