Ericsson Connected Print – Information on Touch

Twenty years ago we started to learn how by simple clicking on the link we can open a new world of information, expand our knowledge and find a video game or music. Ericsson in their research of the Network society goes a step further - opening up the possibility of surfing in the real world using touch our body as a medium for transmission. This opens up new possibilities of mobile Internet and cloud in the world in which all have a connection.

Connected print is the Ericsson''s concept, which shows how from various objects that have printed electronics, we can get information by using the human body as a conduit and transmitting those information on smart phones or tablets.

At a press breakfast in Belgrade, Ericsson presented how this technology could be used in several different situations. Printed electronics on food packages allows users to find out information such as the content of the food, how fresh it is and how it was made. For more information on this technology can be found on the Ericsson website.
