EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal educational films for World Environment Day
On the occasion of this year's World Environment Day, which is celebrated on June 5, the European educational project EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal sends a strong message about the importance of environmental education. Under the global motto #BeatPlasticPollution, the celebration of this day will focus on the growing plastic pollution and its consequences for the environment, health, and society. Schools and educational institutions in Europe are invited to integrate films from the EUYC:GD program into their lessons - free of charge and in an age-appropriate format.

In addition, everyone else interested can watch selected movies - for free and from anywhere!

Plastic pollution as a central topic

Plastic can be found in almost all ecosystems today - from the sea floor to our bloodstream. The United Nations' campaign for World Environment Day 2025 therefore calls for a comprehensive change in the way we use resources. Education plays a key role in this. EU Youth Cinema: Green Deal supports this change with carefully selected film programs that make environmental and climate issues emotionally tangible.
