Bulgarian Božidar Džurov defeated Romanian Samuel Roman in a match filled with relentless action. His calculated punches earned him a spot in the semifinals of the $100,000 tournament, despite Roman’s aggressive and challenging pace.
In the lightweight category, Hungary's "wunderkind" Levente Olah secured a hard-fought points victory over our Veljko Gligorić. The precision and mental toughness of the 19-year-old Hungarian proved decisive against the technical skills of Gligorić in the ring.
