HONOR launched the new HONOR Magic V5 in China

Global AI device and digital ecosystem company HONOR has introduced the latest generation of foldable smartphones in China – the HONOR Magic V5. As the world’s thinnest and lightest inward-folding phone to date, the HONOR Magic V5 represents the pinnacle of industrial design and innovation, including the first mass-produced 6,100mAh silicon-carbon battery with 25% silicon content. Powered by artificial intelligence, the new smart assistant YOYO introduces advanced AI features that help users make the most of the large screens. The HONOR Magic V5 comes in several colors – ivory, black, gold, and brown. 

The HONOR Magic V5 sets new standards for the ease of use of foldable phones, featuring an ultra-thin body just 8.8mm thick and weighing only 217g. These achievements are the result of engineering excellence and the most advanced AI manufacturing system, which enhances structural stability and enables an almost invisible crease – for a flawless user experience every time the phone is opened and closed. 

The device is water and dust resistant with IP58 and IP59 certifications and is made from reinforced carbon fiber on the inside with a protective Anti-scratch NanoCrystal coating on the outside. The carbon layer, resistant to deformation up to 380 GPa, further absorbs shocks, while the HONOR Super Steel hinge, with a tensile strength of 2300 MPa, ensures smooth and secure folding. 

The large 7.95-inch inner screen offers the ability to multitask smoothly and efficiently, while the 6.43-inch outer screen provides quick access to essential functions on the go.
