ICCO Global Awards: Early-Bird Entries Open with New Categories
The International Communications Consulting Organization (ICCO) has officially opened for entries for the 2024 ICCO Global Awards, offering PR professionals worldwide the opportunity to showcase their most impactful work on a global stage. As one of the industry's most prestigious honours, the awards highlight outstanding achievements in PR and communications, bringing together top campaigns, agencies, and professionals from across the globe. 

This year, the #ICCOGlobalAwards introduces several new categories, reflecting the evolving landscape of the PR industry. Among the exciting additions are regional "Campaign of the Year" awards that recognise exceptional work from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, Western and Northern Europe, North and Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia and Oceania. These regional categories offer fresh opportunities for agencies and professionals to gain well-deserved recognition on an international platform. 

Other new categories include the following: Health, Wellness, and Wellbeing Award, Professional Services Award, Construction, Energy, and Real Estate Award, Best ESG Campaign, Sport and Entertainment Award, Consumer Goods Award, and Best Digital, New Media and Influencer Marketing Campaign. 

In addition to these new categories, the awards will continue to honour standout campaigns in sectors like technology, automotive, and non-profit, as well as top-notch efforts in media relations, digital marketing, crisis management, and more. Explore the full list of categories here.  

To take advantage of special entry fees, be sure to submit your work by the early bird deadline on September 13th, 2024. The final entry deadline is set for October 3rd, 2024, with a late entry deadline of October 16th, 2024. 

The celebration of winners will culminate at the prestigious ICCO Global Awards Gala on November 27th, 2024, held at the iconic Waldorf Hotel in London. 

Prior to the Global Awards Gala, the ICCO is set to host the ICCO Global Summit 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey, at the luxurious Fairmont Quasar Hotel on October 9th and 10th. In collaboration with the Turkish association member, IDA, this summit promises to be a vibrant convergence of PR excellence in a city that bridges Europe and Asia. 

This year’s theme, "Reputation. Relevance. Relationships.", will delve into PR’s dual strategic and creative roles. On one side, the summit will examine PR’s impact on geopolitics, elections, and corporate decision-making. On the other, it will highlight innovative and ethical approaches to using PR creatively to enhance our planet. The event aims to explore how PR can be leveraged both strategically and creatively to address some of the most pressing global issues of our time. 

Participants can expect a premium experience, with sessions designed to provide insights into the evolving landscape of PR. Esteemed speakers, including representatives from Google, the Council of Europe, and global chief creatives, will lead discussions on high-stakes communication strategies, innovative campaigns, and the role of PR in fostering corporate responsibility. The summit will offer unparalleled networking opportunities, allowing professionals to connect with peers, industry leaders, and influencers from around the world.
