MasterIndex Serbia: 23% more users of contactless payments in Serbia in 2017

The latest MasterIndex Serbia research has shown that the number of active users of contactless payments in Serbia grew by 23% during 2017 and 42% of respondents who use their cards at least once a week also have and use contactless cards.

Consumers choose to pay contactless primarily at busy merchant location such as supermarkets (60%), petrol stations (40%), local grocery stores (33%) and drugstores and perfume shops (33%).
