McDonald's celebrated World Book Day by donating 500 books

McDonald's has been present in Serbia for 35 years and for all that time it has been an active partner to the community through various actions of social importance.

On the occasion of this great jubilee of successful business in Serbia, as well as World Book Day, the McDonald's company donated 35 current titles to the city libraries of the cities where it has restaurants. A total of 280 books were given to libraries in Niš, Velika Plana, Kragujevac, Belgrade, Pančevo, Stara Pazova, Novi Sad and Subotica.

In addition, McDonald's donated 130 books to the library of the "Dositej Obradović" elementary school in Smederevo, in order to help rebuild the book fund, because their school library burned down in a fire nine years ago.
