McDonald’s Serbia has won the prestigious DISRUPT Award for the project “More Than 20 Years of Inclusion – A Partnership Between McDonald’s Serbia and KEC That Changes Lives,” which represents one of the longest-running inclusion programs in the private sector in Serbia.
This project is the result of long-standing cooperation between McDonald’s Serbia and the Creative Educational Center (KEC), which began in 2004 with the goal of integrating people with intellectual disabilities into the workplace and society. Over more than two decades, the program has enabled the participation of more than 250 young people in work activities, making a significant contribution to the development of an inclusive society.
The DISRUPT AWARDS, organized by the marketing agency Adam Studio, once again brought together numerous projects from companies and agencies whose innovative approaches contribute to positive changes in society. The expert jury recognized this project as an example of best practice, demonstrating that inclusion is not only a social value, but also a sustainable model that changes the lives of individuals and communities.
The DISRUPT AWARDS is a competition held for the sixth consecutive year, bringing together those who think differently and are ready to experiment in their work, pushing boundaries and driving innovation.
