MOL Serbia and the Road Traffic Safety Agency are intensifying the "Game is for Children, Children's Life is not a Game" project
For the
sixth year in a row, MOL Serbia and the Road Traffic Safety Agency are
continuing the project "A Game is for Children, Children's Life is not a Game",
providing a free check of the proper use of child car seats at an even greater
number of MOL service stations throughout Serbia.
Starting
this year, parents and drivers will have the opportunity to receive advice on
the proprer use of child car seats throughout the summer at 20 MOL stations
throughout Serbia, as well as to check whether the seat in their vehicle is
properly installed.
"The
MOL Serbia company stands for safety in every sense. In accordance with the
'SHAPE TOMORROW' strategy, our goal is to make the region greener, more
self-sustainable and more competitive. But we are still focused on the traffic
and passengers' safety, especially the youngest passengers. For six years now,
we have been implementing a project called 'Game is for Children, Children's Life
is not a Game' in cooperation with the Road Traffic Safety Agency. I am
especially proud that this project grows yearly, and we managed to double the
number of workshops on properly using child car seats. It is extremely
important for us that children's car seats are properly installed in the
vehicle because this is the only guarantee that the child will be protected.
Education is the most important preventive action to avoid potential accidents.
We would like to thank our partners from the Road Traffic Safety Agency of the
Republic of Serbia for many years of support and cooperation so that our
customers and their children can enjoy safe driving," said Biljana Mališić
Jut, Director of Retail at MOL Serbia.
In order to
safely set off on their way to summer destinations, parents and drivers will be
able to check their knowledge of the proper use of child car seats and receive
all the necessary advice in the period from June 20 to the end of August at MOL
Serbia service stations in Belgrade, Kruševac, Subotica, Kraljevo, Pančevo,
Aranđelovac, Novi Sad, Svilajnac, Knjaževac, Kragujevac, Šabac, Leskovac,
Odžaci, Loznica and Niš.
"Children's
safety is a priority of the Road Traffic Safety Agency. Half of the children
who die in traffic accidents in Serbia are killed in a car, as passengers, and
that's when they are transported in the presence of their parents, who are the
most responsible for their safety. This campaign, which we are carrying out
with the socially responsible company MOL Serbia, is an excellent opportunity
to talk directly with parents and guardians, to point out to them possible
omissions, but also the risks that they can lead their children into. The
vision of 0 children killed in traffic is the vision by which we are guided,
and its realization is only possible in cooperation with partners, such as the
company MOL Serbia, as well as by involving every individual and every parent,
because parents, by their example and responsible behaviour in traffic, should
teach their children to be safe", said Branko Stamatović, v. d. Director
of the Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia.
Drivers who
visit selected MOL Serbia service stations, check whether the child car seat is
properly installed in their vehicle and correctly answer the quiz questions
will have the opportunity to win a child car seat in the category of 9 to 36
kilograms, provided by the Raod Traffic Safety Agency, while MOL Serbia is
giving away a MOL fuel card with the amount of RSD 4,000. The completed flyer
with the correct answers must be inserted into the box provided for that
purpose at the station from which the winners will be drawn.
