My world of harmony and humanity
01/15/2025 • Agency news

When I think about a world shaped to my own measure, the first feeling that comes to mind is one of harmony and humanity. That world would be designed to respect diversity, nurture, creativity, and provide equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of background, age, or life circumstances. Empathy that leads to philanthropy is very important for the survival of the world and the better functioning of the community.
It may seem like a utopia, but as someone who has been in the PR industry for more than two decades, I have learned that communication is the foundation of every successful relationship and system. I believe that everything only makes sense if people understand each other better, where words are not weapons, but bridges connecting people and cultures. Imagine a society where dialogue overcomes prejudices and cooperation wins over conflicts — that is my ideal.
Education is the key
As a mechanical engineer by profession, I learned that logical thinking is the basis of every innovation, but also that education is not just a bunch of facts. The way I imagine education is that it is a tool for releasing potential, not a burden. Children would learn how to think, to freely and clearly express their concerns, thoughts, knowledge, doubts, feelings... and not what to think. In my opinion, education is the most important segment of society and it is something that we should invest in the most because the kind of society we will become will depend on the kind of education we have.
As a mother of a teenager - a high school student - I know that there are fantastic teachers, above all fantastic pedagogues and people who help children, not only in learning but also in upbringing, understand their needs, the challenges they face in adolescence and help them overcome them. Such people are precious.
I imagine a school system that teaches children about emotional intelligence, teamwork, and the ability to solve problems, with an emphasis on individual talents. Young people would be encouraged to be curious, to ask questions, and to seek answers in a creative way. I deeply believe that the future of the world is in the hands of the generations to come, and their path should be illuminated with knowledge, understanding, and inspiration. They should be supported on that path, not hindered.
Democracy in everyday life
The democratic spirit is not just a political ideal - it is a way of life. People must have the freedom to choose, but also the responsibility to use those choices for the common good. Democracy must be present everywhere, starting from the family, in companies, in the workplace, in local communities, and all the way to state administration.
What I know is that in our small family, everyone's voice is heard everything someone says is seriously discussed and considered and the best solution for the whole family is chosen. This is the situation in our agency, Chapter 4. The working atmosphere is such that everyone feels included, where opinions are respected, and where hierarchy does not stifle innovation and differences. As one of the directors in a PR agency, I know how important it is for each team member to feel valued and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the agency, but also to their own development, and for everyone to feel that their voice matters.
Sports, music, and books - food for the soul
As someone who loves sports and has been involved in sports for years, from basketball, running, and cycling to skiing, I know that sports are not just physical activity - they are a lesson in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. In addition to sports, music, books, and travel make up a significant part of my everyday life. Music is perhaps the only thing that unites people on a universal level, regardless of the language we speak, we all feel it in the same or similar way and when we are at concerts we do not think about who is next to us, what religion, skin color, education, financial status… we all sway to the same rhythm. Books taught me to imagine, opened new doors to endless worlds for me, and helped me better understand other cultures. Travel is an inexhaustible source of motivation, learning, and getting to know different people.
To sum up, art and sports should not be a privilege, but the right of every individual.
Ecological responsibility
We live in a world that is so out of harmony with nature, and people have unfortunately made sure that for the sake of some personal interests, we create it in such a way that every day we breathe polluted air, water is polluted, waste accumulates in enormous quantities, plant and animal species are becoming extinct... And in fact, we need a world that is in harmony with nature. Ecological responsibility must be the basic principle of everyday life. People must understand that protecting the planet is not just a task - it is an obligation, but also a privilege.
Instead of the concrete that increasingly surrounds us, imagine cities with abundant green spaces, renewable energy sources and recycling systems that function flawlessly. We also need as much greenery and parks in cities as possible, spaces for children where they can learn about the world they live in through play.
Nothing is perfect in my opinion, because perfection is not the goal. The goal is to create a space where people feel free, where they develop as individuals, and where they contribute to the community. That is the world I would like to live in.
