National Geographic invites you to the forum: Strong in the Head, School, and the Gym
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, National Geographic Serbia is organizing a forum on the mental health of young people in sports, on October 10, with Olympic champion Andrija Gerić.

Playing sports is an important part of growing up and proper development. Physical activity contributes to better brain development as much as motor skills. It develops different skills for navigating the world around us.

From the need for healthy development, for many young people playing sports grows into something more serious and becomes more than a hobby. A lot is expected from young athletes, and for these expectations not to become a burden, and for sports to remain a love and an activity they enjoy, National Geographic Serbia, on October 10, on World Mental Health Day, is organizing a forum called STRONG IN THE HEAD, SCHOOL AND THE GYM! Andrija Gerić, a celebrated Olympic champion with 20 years of experience in the top volleyball sport, will hold the podium.

After a successful sports career, Andrija Gerić educated academically, obtained the title of graduate psychologist, and simultaneously completed the NLP methodology for a mental coach. Today, he works with many athletes and helps them achieve peak results using mental strength.

Desire to help the development of young athletes was also recognized by the company Galenika, which joined the project with the platform ’Hello Twenties’. ’Hello Twenties’ is a sustainable and socially responsible project, intended for students and audiences aged 18 to 29, with the goal of providing relevant information about mental and physical health.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, October 10, starting at 7 p.m. in the hall of the Cultural Center of Belgrade (Kolarčeva 6). Entrance is free, and registration is required at this link.
