PepsiCo - a place to be yourself
The PepsiCo company launched the campaign "She is PepsiCo" with the aim of recognizing and promoting women in various business positions within its organization, and in order to point out their efforts and successes, thereby additionally empowering all other women. The launch of this campaign also marked the formation of an employee support group "Women's Inclusion Network", which will continuously work on promoting diversity, inclusion and creating an even better environment for all employees. These initiatives are part of the company's global goal that by 2025, women make up at least 50 percent of employees in managerial positions, while making the overall well-being of employees a priority.

The faces of the "She is PepsiCo" campaign are women who work in a wide variety of positions in the company - from production, warehousing, to commercial functions.

"We launched the "She is PepsiCo" campaign with the idea of giving female colleagues who are motivation for the entire organization additional space and visibility. With their example and self-sacrifice, they are an inspiration to everyone around them. We launched the campaign internally, in our snack factory in Maglić, where most of our employees work, but we also made it visible externally via branding of the tarps of the trucks that deliver our products, and billboards, with the idea that these inspiring stories reach the hearts of people all over the country, as well as to some new potential employees, ready for new opportunities and challenges", said Ivana Vukić, Manager of Communications and Corporate Affairs at PepsiCo Western Balkans.

The PepsiCo company is one of the leading employers in Serbia, which is confirmed by numerous awards, such as the Top Employer award, which the company won 10 times in a row.

"We are proud of all the achievements in the process of advancing the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) agenda in our organization. Reflecting the characteristics of the diverse communities in which we operate, we have not only increased the representation of women in the company structure, who make up more than 50% of our employees and 43% of management positions, but we have also launched initiatives that celebrate and support their contributions, such as the campaign "She is PepsiCo". We continue in this direction and remain focused on building a work environment where everyone feels valued, empowered and focused on progress, while making employee well-being a priority," said Diksha Chopra, HR Director at PepsiCo in Serbia.

PepsiCo's commitment to equal opportunity is reflected in initiatives such as the annual gender pay gap analysis, which identifies and addresses any potential discrepancies. As part of the general employee well-being agenda, the company has implemented a number of new benefits aimed at supporting employees, with a special focus on employees in production and sales operations. This includes private health insurance for all employees, access to the "Virgin Pulse" platform, which offers guidelines on a healthier lifestyle, and the "Carrot" project, as a kind of support in the reproductive health segment. Also, through partnerships with organizations such as USAID and the Forum for Youth with Disabilities, they have enabled the company to attract and support differently-abled youth, providing them with valuable internship opportunities and promoting an inclusive workplace.

In addition to offering benefits that enhance the overall well-being of employees and help balance their private and professional lives, PepsiCo also invests in employee wages. This includes improving the bonus system for sales and supply chain employees. We continuously communicate with our employees, monitor their needs and respond to that with various initiatives and benefits. These efforts underscore our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment and improving the employee experience.
