SAP supports social entrepreneurship

The company SAP, in collaboration with Ashoka and Social Impact, is supporting innovative, socially-oriented entrepreneurs in Central and Eastern Europe via its “STARTERY CEE” project.

If you have identified a problem in your community and have an innovative idea on how to solve it in a sustainable way, you can apply for the four-day STARTERY CEE summit to learn new methods for creative thinking as well as novelty business models. Furthermore, this summit will help its participants develop their business ideas with the help of experts and other participants as well as to form partnerships and a network with like-minded entrepreneurs who value a positive and lasting social impact more than mere financial success. At the final meeting, the various teams will present their ideas and the top three social-thinking entrepreneurs will get the chance to spend two weeks at the Social Impact laboratory in Berlin.

Applications can be filled out and submitted online at sijte. The application period is from August 10th until September 6th, 2015.
