Solemn Academy on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla, the City Secretariat for Culture and Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade organized a solemn academy in Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment. During the official program the guests were addressed by Vladan Vukosavljevic, Secretary of Culture of Belgrade, Zoran Popovic, Vice President of the Serbian Academy of Science and Art for Natural Sciences and Branimir Jovanovic, Director of the Museum Nikola Tesla in Belgrade.

Dramatic parts of the program were performed by the actor Branimir Brstina and academic choir "Obilic" and the ensemble of folk dances and songs of Serbia "Kolo" also performed. A film about Nikola Tesla produced by the Museum of Nikola Tesla was broadcasted, while in the foyer of Kolarac Endowment an exhibition of artifacts from the collections of the Museum of Nikola Tesla was organized.
