The principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace are the foundation of the "Most Inclusive Employer" award
The panel on the occasion of the opening of the contest for the "Most Inclusive Employer" award was held at the Forum of Young People with Disabilities and brought together representatives of the media, the civil sector, socially responsible companies and last year's award winners, who shared their experiences. As part of this panel, a competition for "Working practices for disabled youth" was presented, which aims to improve employability and create new opportunities for professional development of disabled youth.

The Forum for Responsible Business and the Smart Collective have announced a competition for the Award for the Most Inclusive Employer for 2024, through which awards and recognition will be given to business entities that have demonstrated strategic commitment and excellence in implementing practices of fostering diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion in the working environment.

Companies that have integrated issues of diversity and inclusion into their business strategies and are actively working on initiatives and projects that contribute to creating an inclusive work environment can apply for the competition. The award is given in two categories - the most inclusive employer for people with disabilities and the most inclusive employer of the year, with applications from large companies and applications from small and medium-sized companies being considered in particular," said Neven Marinović, director of the Forum for Responsible Business and Smart Collective.

"Forum of Young People with Disabilities provides support to employers in the development of inclusive procedures for the employment of people with disabilities, and one such program is the Work Internship program for young people with disabilities through which employers, regardless of whether they are large companies or small and medium-sized enterprises, can support young people with disabilities on the way to professional development and improving competitiveness on the labor market", said Slađana Lević, program director of the FForum of Young People with Disabilities.
