Veljko Gligorić and Vladan Babić are among the best European boxers
After a successful qualification phase, which was held in each of the ten participating countries, the best boxers met in Miskolc, Hungary, last week, where they fought to advance to the quarterfinals of the competition. The Serbian flag will be defended in the next, quarter-final phase of the tournament by Veljko Gligorić (in the category up to 60 kg) and heavyweight Vladan Babić (in the category over 91 kg).

Hungary secured the most placements in the quarterfinals, so the host country of the tournament will have nine representatives in this stage of the competition and the only one that has a representative in every category.

The second stage of the Hell Boxing Kings tournament brought 85 fights

Two victories in three days were a guarantee for passage to the next stage of the tournament with a million prize fund, and only eight fighters in each of the four weight categories could go further and remain in the race for big prizes. Strong emotions were noticeable during the fights, and more than 20 heavy knockouts were recorded (you can learn more on the Hell Boxing Kings Instagram account).

Five tickets for the next round were secured by Romania, four by Slovakia and Azerbaijan, three by Greece, and two by Bulgaria and the Czech Republic. Croatia will be represented by heavyweight Fran Hodak. Not a single representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to advance to the next stage of the competition.

Hungary maintained 100% success in the category up to 60 kg, where they will continue the competition with four representatives. Among the fighters in the weight category up to 67 kilograms, Petr Novak stood out. The talented Czech first knocked out Hristos Sevastos from Greece, and then faced Hungarian Danyi Daniel. Kamran Shahsuvarli justified the role of the favorite with ease. The bronze medal winner at the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro will be one of the four representatives of Azerbaijan in the third stage of the tournament.

The revolutionary Hell Boxing Kings project will continue with an event at the end of the year, and it will be made even more attractive by the matches of celebrities, who will step out of their comfort zone and test their qualities in the ring. At the final ceremony, whose ambassador is the legendary world champion Roy Jones Jr., four winners will be announced. In addition to each taking home $100,000 and dominating the Boxing Champions League, there is the possibility of sponsorship from the HELL brand.
